He was brilliantly backed up by world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik. He scored 12 points just two days after leading Poland into the Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations Final with victory in Semi-Final 1 on Friday.

Slovak star Martin Vaculik added nine paid 10 points, while Rafal Karczmarz delivered one of his performances of the season on nine.

Aussie ace Jason Doyle followed up his stellar display for SON Semi-Final 2 winners Australia, leading the Leszno score chart on 12 paid 13.
