Bartosz Zmarzlik

The Gorzow hero became the first of Poland’s golden generation to land the FIM Speedway World Championship in 2019 – following in the footsteps of his mentor Tomasz Gollob. The all-action Szczecin-born racer saw off fierce competition from Leon Madsen to win the world title by two points, topping the podium in Krsko, Wroclaw and Vojens along the way. He became the youngest ever SGP winner at 19 years and 140 days old when he topped the 2014 Gorzow SGP podium, before qualifying for the series full-time for 2016.
