The Dane finished fifth at last year’s GP Challenge in Gorican, narrowly falling short of a full-time place in the SGP 2020 field.
Thomsen has emerged as one of Denmark’s most promising stars and has produced some strong displays in the PGE Ekstraliga for Gorzow.
He will serve as this season’s SGP second reserve.
